Mesotherapy 1 800x258

What is it?

Microchanelling is an anti-ageing treatment for the face, neck and hands which is an alternative to deep injection skin treatments and plastic surgery. Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy where the deeper layers of the skin are treated to encourage the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibres in the treated area. The skin plumps and thickens in response to this stimulation, ultimately reducing the appearance of fine lines, scars and hyperpigmentation.

What results can you expect?

In the first stage, the skin stimulates platelet-derived growth factors and fibroblasts to regenerate and matrix formation. It then provokes the release of fibroblast growth factors and monocytes, which result in increased production of collagen, elastin and proteoglycans. It improves microcirculation and tissue oxygenation. The result shows significant increase in skin tightening, reduce of acne scars and stretch marks. Mesotherapy microneedle focues on the facelift.

How many sessions are required?

We recommend at least 3 treatments to see results, but a course of between 6 and 10 treatments once or twice a month is ideal for optimum effect.

How does it work?

Microchanelling method uses a technique of skin microperforation  depth of 0.3mm. As a result, the structure of the skin is not a barrier for the active substances transmission. They penetrate through the epidermis and spread in the dermis, exactly where their action is the most efficient, intensely stimulate cell metabolism and stimulate regenerative processes. In addition, mechanical microperforation of epidermis, stimulates the skin receptors and stimulates better circulation.

Treatment timing.

An estimate of 20 to 30 minutes.

Does it hurt?

The procedure is a bit painfull, if the patient has a low pain sensitivity threshold, numbing cream may be applied.

For the first 2-5 days erythema can be visible, straight after the treatment we do not recomend to apply any products or make up on the skin. It is recommended to avoid sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pools 24 hours after the treatment. Also, we do not recommend tanning 1-2 weeks after the micro mesotheraphy as this can cause excesive hiperpigmentation on the skin; SPF 30 sunscreen is essential.
